Description & Responsibilities
As a Medior-Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role within our sales team. You will work closely with colleagues from sales & revenue, marketing and the leadership team to generate new business.
In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities as an Account Executive, we also expect you to contribute to the strategic development of our sales team. You have experience creating consistency and structure that aligns with our sales strategy, marketing activities and customer success department. You understand how to translate our goals into a long-term approach and know how to operationalize that approach.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Building our sales pipeline: thinking with us about how we approach customers, identifying buyer personas and further operationalizing the sales process with a long-term view.
- Consultative selling: understanding customer needs, providing customized solutions and working on long-term partnerships.
- Responsibility for the entire sales cycle from demo to deal and extension: from conducting product demonstrations to negotiating and successfully completing deals.
- Collaboration: working with our revenue team to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads, and with the customer success team for a smooth handover after the sale.
- Pipeline management: ensuring a current and accurate sales pipeline in our CRM system (Salesforce or HubSpot) and correctly tracking all opportunities.
- Meet targets: meet or exceed your quarterly goals in terms of sales and closed deals.
Required skills and experience
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Executive who thrives in a fast-growing environment. You are a perfect fit if you possess the following:
- Availability of 3 days a week at our Rotterdam office.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B SaaS sales, with demonstrated results in exceeding sales targets.
- Expert in B2B SaaS sales, with knowledge of marketing and market research.

- Strong negotiation, presentation and consultative selling skills.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders.

- A strong drive to make a positive impact in your professional career.
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Apollo and Account-Based Marketing.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of data analytics, resource management, the circular economy or similar topics.
